Shopping for Your First Surfboard
There are a wide variety of surfboard designs to choose from that it could be easy to get overwhelmed. To choose wisely, here are some basic things you should know before heading to a sports store and making a purchase. For one, take your time in selecting the right surfboard for you. Especially when you are a newbie, you should be wary about salespeople who try to sell you surfboards that will not help you learn to surf. Another tip to keep in mind is that beginner surfers need only a big and thick surfboard that is around seven feet in length, between 19 and 21 inches in width and two or three inches thick. Lastly, do not concern yourself about fins this time as they only concern the advanced and intermediate surfers.
