Cruise Ship Clothes
For many people, one of the best things in life that they wish they could experience is to travel in a magnificent cruise ship. These gigantic floating hotels have the amenities necessary to give their passengers the trip of a lifetime. The company that operates the vessel also has formal and casual events throughout the duration of the voyage. Thus, if you have the opportunity to be in one of these getaways, you should bring a few basic clothing so you can truly enjoy your experience.
First, you need to bring swimwear. Most modern cruise ships have whirlpools and swimming pools, and if you want to take a dip, you are required to wear a bikini, bathing suit, or swimming trunk. In addition, when your ship docks at its ports-of-call, you may want to take a dip at the warm beaches in the area.
Next, you need to bring casual resort clothing, the general dress code in the boat. Shorts, casual skirts, blouses, and collared shirts are good examples of these clothes. You should also bring nice sandals or loafers so you can walk around the promenade and hallways comfortably. The idea here is to wear something that is comfortable and presentable.
Depending on the climate at your travel destinations, you should also bring excursion clothing, garments that you need to wear when you step out of the ship. Shorts and shirts are fine for places with warm, tropical climate. But if you are cruising to an area with a colder climate, bring a sweater, parka, or a jacket.
Finally, bring some evening dresses since cruise vessels usually have a night or two of formal events. If you are a man, bring your prized tuxedo or three-piece suit. If you are a woman, look elegant with your evening gown and red-carpet dresses.
